Donor Experience Partners (DXP) was established in 2021 in response to the critical questions frequently asked by fundraising professionals:

Why do some of our donors stay while others leave?
Why do we invest so much money and staff time in donor acquisition?
How can we reduce donor attrition?

To help overcome these challenges, Joe Naylor, CFRE, a seasoned fundraising and donor development professional, and Yosuke Chikamoto, PhD, CPXP, a well-versed communication and experience design/analytics professional, joined together to develop an innovative fundraising approach: a strategic emphasis on Donor Experience.

DXP has designed a strategy to effectively and efficiently capture Donor Experience, a myriad of all the interactions that donors have with staff, volunteers, and any media (e.g., website, social media, printed materials) from the nonprofit.

Our unique approach has been rigorously vetted and finetuned by our team of veteran advisors who represent various areas of fundraising including higher education, healthcare, social service, arts and religion. Furthermore, the approach has been tested with reputable nonprofits for its relevant and practical applications.

DXP partners with nonprofit organizations and conducts Donor Experience Assessments using its proprietary Donor Experience Survey administered directly to their donors. Based on the findings, DXP provides personalized, data-driven recommendations. In addition, DXP can provide consultation/coaching and training/workshops.
